We are a joyful, passionate and diverse place that sits in the Open Catholic tradition of the Church of England. We love the Bible, we love the Lord Jesus, we love to sing and we try to love each other! We also love parties. We think of everyone who comes here as part of a family, and we hope you’ll feel at home. St. Christopher’s Church is in the Anglican Diocese of Southwark.
As a congregation, we often go and visits and retreats. One of our most recent visits (pictured below) was to Pembroke College, Cambridge, in 2017; we have visited Pembroke College several times in the past due to a strong historic relationship between Pembroke House, the community centre in which we’re based, and the College. We very much enjoyed the day, and had a lovely time exploring the gardens of Pembroke!
As a church, we pray for each other, for those who need our prayers, and for the people who live around us. We remember those in particular need at our Sunday Mass, and each morning we pray for our bishops and a different part of our parish, as well as for the work of Pembroke House.
If you would like us to pray for you or for someone you know, please contacts Rev’d Dr James Gardom at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our current Vicar, Father David Evans, will sadly be leaving us at the end of April. Rev’d Dr James Gardom, Dean of Pembroke College, will be assisting the Church’s activities from April until October 2018. If you have any questions about the church and its activities during this time, please contact James at:
