Our new music project for babies and toddlers up to the age of four has got off to a great start. The children love playing percussion instruments, singing and dancing, and the session ends with refreshments – juice and fruit for the children, and a cup of tea for the adults with the chance to chat and get to know each other.
On Saturday 1 March members of PAM spent the day in Cambridge, making music in the beautiful Wren Chapel in Pembroke College. The PAM Community Choir was joined by singers from the college, and an orchestra formed of PAM students and members of Pembroke College played an excerpt from Beethoven 7th Symphony, folk song arrangements and Jesus’ Blood, the iconic minimalist piece by Gavin Bryars. Thank you Pembroke College for a great day!
